The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the round 1 seat allotment result for BSc (Hons) Nursing admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. The result is available on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.Candidates who took part in the counselling process can check the round 1 seat allotment list to see their allotted institute and seat category. The allotment has been made based on the choices submitted by eligible candidates.The choice filling facility was available from 11 am on July 31 to 5 pm on August 6, 2026.

Who is eligible for round 2?
Candidates who were allotted a seat in round 1 and selected option 2, while also meeting the required conditions, will be eligible to participate in round 2 of seat allocation.Candidates who were considered in round 1 but did not get a seat will also be automatically considered for the next round.However, candidates who were eligible for round 1 but did not register or fill in their choices will not be eligible for round 2. They will, however, be eligible for the open round of seat allocation.
How are seats allotted?
Candidates from both the unreserved and eligible reserved categories can be considered for unreserved seats or institutes based on their merit.For a seat available under a particular category, the candidate with the higher merit will be given preference over a candidate with a lower rank.In round 1, candidates were allotted an institute or seat based on their highest available choice at their rank.If a candidate’s preferred institute or seat was available under both the unreserved category and a reserved category, wherever applicable, the seat was allotted under the unreserved category.A reserved-category seat will be allotted to an eligible reserved-category candidate only when the corresponding seat for their preferred choice is not available under the unreserved category at that rank.
