JeM’s Bahawalpur base rebuilt after Operation Sindoor strikes

The Markaz Subhanallah complex, the main base of UN-sanctioned terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur, has been restored more than a year after it was badly damaged in Operation Sindoor. Fresh footage shows rebuilt domes, renovated interiors and new marble flooring, while intelligence reports cited in the report say Pakistan channelled PKR 250 million to JeM, with around PKR 110 million used for the central complex. ‘What’s the fate of common citizen?’ Ex-envoy flags SIR process

Former diplomat Navdeep Suri said he was asked to provide additional documents to establish his Indian citizenship after discrepancies emerged between his details and the 2003 electoral roll during Punjab’s Special Intensive Revision. Suri, who represented India as high commissioner to Australia and ambassador to the UAE and Egypt, questioned how ordinary voters without extensive documentation would navigate the verification process. CJP to review Centre’s promises, hints at fresh nationwide protest

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will hold a national working committee meeting on Monday to review the Centre’s assurances that led to the withdrawal of its nationwide agitation. The party warned that any delay or dilution of commitments, including action on protest-related FIRs and compensation for NEET-UG victims’ families, could amount to “vishwasghaat” with the country’s youth.
