India have been put on the back foot early in their men’s team foil Ro16 tie against Hong Kong at the Asian Games.
Sachin began with a 2-5 loss to Chun Choi, before Hemash Singh went down 3-5 in the second relay, leaving India 5-10 behind.
Aaditya then gave India some hope with a 6-5 victory over Ka Long Cheung, reducing the deficit to four points at 11-15.
However, 17-year-old Sachin struggled to find enough touches in the next relay, with Hong Kong extending their advantage to 19-12. India now face a difficult fightback with more relays still to come.
