A few days after calling out Govinda and his rumoured girlfriend Komal Rani Swarnkar over their appearance at Lalbaugcha Raja, Divya Khossla has once again addressed the controversy. The actor has now questioned Komal’s sindoor during the religious visit and asked whether she understands the significance attached to the symbol. Divya also urged people not to use religion for personal agendas.The controversy began after Govinda and Komal Rani were spotted at Lalbaugcha Raja on September 22. Several social media users noticed that Komal did not appear to be wearing sindoor when she arrived with Govinda. However, after seeking Bappa’s blessings, she was seen with a red mark around her forehead and hair parting. This led to speculation online about a possible secret wedding between the two.While some netizens interpreted the mark as sindoor, others suggested that it could have been part of the religious rituals at the pandal. One theory doing the rounds was that Komal may have touched her forehead to Bappa’s feet during darshan, which could explain the red mark.Divya, who had earlier spoken in support of Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja, has now questioned the way the entire episode unfolded. In her latest note, she wrote, “Whatever we do in our personal life is definitely our choice however atleast for the sake of keeping our society clean it’s v important ki ‘Hum Samaj ka Daayra maintain Karein’.”

She further questioned the manner in which Komal appeared at the religious venue with Govinda, writing, “A certain girl goes with u to a religious place, bows in a manner that sindoor comes in her maang clearly giving enough material to various media to cover the couple in such a manner …. Like really… whom are u kidding?? and then goes and comments on intimate details of your personal life ….. Do u think this is a joke?”Divya went on to question the use of religious symbolism, adding, “Atleast stop using our religion for your agenda… do u even understand the importance of a Sindoor?? Which is the most powerful symbol of a married Hindu woman.. Extremely disappointed with the celebs supporting such acts.”The controversy surrounding Govinda and Komal Rani comes amid Sunita Ahuja’s recent video message in which she appealed to Gen Z and the media to support her amid reports of Govinda’s alleged relationship with Komal. Following the viral video, Komal also shared a note on social media, adding another turn to the ongoing controversy.
