Career & Money Predictions, 24 October 2026: Mercury Turns Retrograde in Scorpio, Bringing Old Workplace Conversations Back for Review

Today marks the beginning of Mercury’s retrograde phase in Scorpio, influencing how we communicate and handle contracts. Gemini and Virgo, in particular, should pay close attention to details and ensure all paperwork is accurate. Scorpio individuals might uncover past mistakes that they can now address. Others may face unexpected job opportunities or find themselves renegotiating agreements. This period emphasizes the importance of careful communication and reassessment of plans until mid-November.

Mercury stops at 21 degrees Scorpio a little before 1 pm IST on Saturday and begins its retrograde phase. It moves backwards until about 14th November. For the next three weeks, expect to revisit things you thought were finished, like a contract clause or a promise made in last month’s meeting.

How to Navigate Today’s Energy

A fresh loan or a big equipment order is better placed after mid-November.The Sun and Venus meet at about 1 degree Scorpio around 9:30 am today.
