While the actress has not yet made the news public, a report by French magazine Voici, confirms that Portman has given birth.

As per the report, the actress welcomed her baby boy on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in France. The baby is the actress’ third child and her second son.Portman shares son, Aleph Portman-Millepied (15) and daughter Amalia Millepied (9) with her ex-husband, Benjamin Millepied.

News of the baby’s arrival comes under a month after Portman announced her pregnancy with an adorable photoshoot earlier this year and offered fans a glimpse of her baby bump in a photograph shared on July 29. Alongside the picture, the actress wrote, “We’re counting the days until we meet you.”

In an interview with People early this year, Portman shared the differences she’s noticed between being pregnant in France versus in the United States. “It’s interesting, actually. In many ways, the same. I find the doctors to be amazing in both places, but they do have different landmarks for pregnancy and some of the tests they recommend are different,” she began. “The biggest difference for me is a socialised versus not-socialised approach to medicine.”“When you’re in a socialised medicine country, they’re trying to do the best for the most people, without making you pay for extra stuff,” she continued. Whereas, in the U.S., they’re like, ‘Well, if you want this, we can add this.’ You can see that it is also a business.”
