MUMBAI: The rupee strengthened 57 paise to close at 93.91 a six-month high against the US dollar, extending its recovery on sustained foreign fund inflows, falling crude oil prices and easing concerns over the global concentration of investments in artificial intelligence. The currency has emerged as the second-best performer against the dollar this month after spending much of the year among the weakest emerging-market currencies.
